4/10/18 Week 1-14 Kamal Afiq [0330643] Usability & Mobility Applications I Week 3 Usability & Mobility Applications I  During class today our objective was to redesign a boarding pass by AirAsia, and had to reorganize the informaton while keeping information architecture in mind. Our final design decided to use a lot more color to our advantage to highlight points of interest and the most important information on the boarding pass. Different sized text also helped to set up the visual hierarchy of the boarding pass, making it easy for the traveler to see the most important information. User Experience and Initial Ideation Usability is essentially the study of how a product works and is used. User Interfaces and User Experience can be derived from this study. Legalities - the rules that govern profession, e.g. copyright Integrity - principles of right conduct, e.g. contracts and crowd sourcing Morality - the general nature of moral choices made by a person, e.g. social responsibility Best practices to create effective visual design: Reduce the size and number of editions of documents (versions in German, Japanese...)
