3/29/18 Week 1-14 Kamal Afiq [0330643] Games Design Week 6 Week I: Introduction to games and game design Today we were tasked with creating our own unique card game from a standard deck of 52 cards. Our game was as follows. The game can be played by up to 6 people. Each person is given 7 random cards at the beginning of the game. The game advances in turns around the players. When it is a particular player's turn, they must take a card from their hand and place it on a table; saying a certain number. If the other players 'have' the same card they may place their chosen card on the table as well. All those that place a card down can take another from the stack after everyone else has made their move in the round. The main mechanic of the game is the bluff. A person may say that they have chosen a specific card, while in fact it was a bluff and they have placed a different one. Anyone during the turn can take the chance and call out the person on a bluff; ...

6/4/17 - Week 2 DST60103, Yip Jinchi Design Studies I: Communication Theory Assignment 1 Conception Concept work, research and development During Week 1 and Week 2, me and my group proceeded to develop our idea for Assignment 1. Having interpreted the song as a linear story, and drawing from its heavy emphasis on visual narrative and imagery we decided it would be best to frame the message of the song into an interactive graphic novel. The visual novel is different from traditional novels, because it requires the user's interaction to proceed along the story. Each panel is showed one after the other, and is only triggered when the user advances the scene. Our inspiration was the comics of Team Fortress 2. We delved deeper into the undertones of the song, and concluded that it was primarily a socio-political commentary. 1/4/17  Client-Work, Ashman Razaruddin Side Project - Concept/3D Work HERMES Holographic Projection Module Introduction In this project, my client is working on a concept for a universal, holographic projector called ' Hermes ' , which is an attachable device connected to the visor of a motorbike helmet. Hermes  projects a HUD (Heads Up Display) onto the rider's visor, displaying GPS information and safety alerts. Figure 1. Opening slide of the Hermes' concept presentation. The goal of this product is to give the rider a distraction-free riding experience, lowering the risk of accidents from having bike riders check their phone for directions. My task is to come up with possible concepts for the product, and create a 3D model which can be used in presentations to showcase Hermes.
