'Vision' theme develop
Adam is a troubled young man who studies at university. He lives in solitude as his social anxiety prevents him from interacting with others. This hasn't always been the case however.
Last year, his best friend Daniel died in a freak accident and Adam felt guilty because they had a fight shortly before he died. He has since then withdrawn into a state of solitude and loneliness. This all takes a ghastly turn as Adam starts seeing his dead best friend throughout the day. Guilt-ridden and becoming increasingly paranoid, he starts to break down completely. He is flung deeper and deeper into an abyss of paranoia as he tries to escape hallucinations of his dead friend, but is unable to.
Overcome with guilt and anxiety, he beings contemplating suicide but before a friend, Hazik rings him for dinner. He decides to end his life later and meet up with his friend for one last time. Hazik starts talking about Daniel and how he and Adam always were always very close. He said that Daniel had looked to up to Adam as a brother and has always confided in him, and how he trusted him with his life and always wanted him to be happy. Over time, Adam slowly comes to the realization that he needs to let go of his best friend and move on. He doesn't commit suicide.
He goes to the place he and Daniel always used hang out and he sees his best friend one last time. The two say their goodbyes one last time in a flashback and Adam leans over the balcony to look over the city in blissful silence, as he finally feels closure. A friend calls him, asking him to hang out, he smiles and agrees to go. He then walks off as the screen turns to black.
Character Profile
Adam is a talented young artist who keeps to himself. He wears plain clothes to avoid attention and acts anxiously and nervous most of the time. As the story progresses, he starts to wear down and become even more withdrawn and even paranoid. He reaches a breaking point when he considers suicide, but by the end of the story he makes peace with himself, starts to recover and becomes hopeful for the future again after he moves on.
Setup and composition
The film uses a lot of tight, close-up shots to illustrate the tension that Adam feels and highlight his facial expressions. Short, jarring cuts also reflect how lost and anxious he feels. The majority of the film sees Adam alone. The denouement introduces us to him and his daily routine, The first plot point is him seeing his dead friend again and the rising action is Adam coping with these hallucinations. The climax is a slow, tense and tightly shot scene where he considers suicide. The resolution is a more relaxed shot of him in clear lighting, illustrating him opening up again after he gains closure.

But he's always in the distance, staring at Adam silently. Adam never approaches his friend and always tries to avoid eye contact. As time passes by, sightings of Daniel become more and more frequent and Adam's state of mind slowly deteriorates as his paranoia develops. He grows even more distant and tries to spend the entirety of his time in solidarity. Eventually it gets to a point where Adam breaks down and a flashback ensues.

Adam stops, turns around and goes to follow his friend, hoping to make amends. He turns a corner and finds Daniel on the ground dead, having been involved in a tragic accident.
